There could be any number of reasons why you want to give yourself a new look or reinvent yourself and lockdown is actually the perfect time to do this as you not only have time to experiment with new looks, get used to a new look and to give yourself plenty of pampering and treatments. Many men have used lockdown as an opportunity to grow a beard and others have used it as a time to lose weight, but what else could you do to come out of lockdown feeling like a new person?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change Your Hair Colour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting a new hairdo is probably one of the most obvious things you can do if you want a new look and there are plenty of home hair dyes you can try, and if you don\u2019t have to go to work, then you even have the opportunity to try out dramatic colours such as pink or blue. If you don\u2019t want to commit to a colour, you can try a semi-permanent<\/a> one and see how you feel about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whiten Your Teeth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teeth whitening<\/a> can make such a difference to your face, and you don\u2019t even realise until you\u2019ve done it. It can make you want to smile more, it can make you look brighter and happier, and if you were conscious about your teeth and your smile before when they are gleaming, you wouldn\u2019t be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hair Extensions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have short hair then apart from changing colour there\u2019s not much else you can do, or is there? Why not try hair extensions to see how you look with long locks? You can buy clip-in hair extensions online so that you can try them out and see how you feel about them, then you also have the option to change your look as and when you feel like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use Self Tan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine when you come back from holiday with a tan, don\u2019t you just feel like a new person. Well, while you can\u2019t go on holiday at the moment, what you can do is pretend you have been and give yourself a good tan. If you\u2019re not used to it, then lockdown is the perfect time to practise and make mistakes with orange hands<\/a>. Then by the time lockdown is over you will not only be a pro at tanning but you\u2019ll have built up a fabulous looking tan and feel confident, sunkissed and sexy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try New Clothes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go shopping online and buy clothes that you might never normally buy. Try new looks and see what you think of them. There is plenty of time to try them on at home, see if they go with clothes that you already have. Get out of your comfort zone and try new things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experiment with Makeup Tutorials <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also the perfect time to get Youtube on and experiment with your makeup<\/a>. If you\u2019ve never tried contouring, then go for it. It might be something you love and find you\u2019re really good at, or you might find it a complete waste of time – better to know though, right? Spend some time messing about and trying new things because you never know; you could find something just right for you and your new look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
