Clearing The Creases In Your Foundations

When we wear foundation, most of us do so to give our skin that flawless finish. And, when we’re young, near enough any product seems to do that job. As soon as we start to age, though, we find that we’re dealing with the worst foundation flaw of all – exaggerated creases.

The sad fact is that, as we get older, our makeup has a harder job to appear flawless. This is especially the case when it comes to fundamental pieces like foundation. At the development of even fine lines, you may begin to find that your foundation doesn’t stay in place. Instead, it hugs every line and creases in the worst areas. By the end of the day, you can’t help but feel that you would look younger without any foundation at all.

That doesn’t mean you need to go cold-turkey on the products you love most. But, it does mean you might want to consider the following ways to clear creases in your foundation from now on.

Find ways to lessen the appearance of wrinkles

Seeing as fine lines and wrinkles are the main reason these creases keep happening, you may want to address the issue at its source. It figures that lessening these issues can help to address foundation creasing. In minor cases, you may find that moisturizer can hydrate your skin so much that fine lines near enough disappear. If the situation is a little more extreme, you could even book yourself for some wrinkle relaxing treatments which can also see lines lessen across your face. This way, there are fewer areas for your foundation to crease in the first place and thus less chance of it happening.

Remember that less is more

If your foundation is clinging in the wrong places, it’s possible that you need to remember how much less can be more. When we’re young, we can all cake foundation on like there’s no tomorrow. As we age, though, doing the same is sure to lead to trouble. While your impulse will be to wear more, you’ll be far better off reducing how much foundation you use. Ensure you still get the same results by adjusting your color or opting for full-coverage options. Then, dab on small amounts at a time, and stop as soon as you think you’ve covered everything.

Become familiar with base layers

Base layers are also your friend if creases are getting you down. These do what they say on the tin, and can provide a smooth layer on which to apply your foundation. Pick the right base layer, and you should find that creasing near enough comes to an end. You may want to opt for a primer, many of which focus on reducing pores and wrinkles for this exact reason. Or, you may prefer a BB cream which can provide even more coverage. Either way, using these as a base layer is sure to see your skin looking as smooth as it did when you were young.

Make Up Hacks To Ensure All Eyes Are On You For Your Next Night Out

When you go for a night out with your girls, the chances are that you want to look a little special. You’ve had a long week of wearing the same makeup and making do with work-appropriate outfits. Now, you want to make a bang by going all out. The trouble is that you don’t have the first clue how to go about it. Every time you try something new, you end up reverting to the everyday makeup which you know serves you. Before you know it, all your girls get the attention, while you blend into the background as always. It’s enough to ruin your night out and your self-confidence in one blow. And, there’s no reason you need to let it happen to you.

In reality, getting your makeup special for a night out isn’t the puzzle you’re making it out to be. All you need are a few go-to secrets which ensure all eyes fall on you the moment your group enters the club. Lucky for you, we’re going to look at a few foolproof night-out options which could serve you every time. Ladies night; here we come.

The smokey eye
Smokey eyes are a night out classic. There’s something about these which never fails to bring a whole new level of sexy to your going out look. Even better, these are probably so different to the neutral eye shadow colors you use all the time that they’re sure to cause a stir. And, this is a more effortless look to achieve than you would ever expect. All you need to do is get on top with your color choices and smudging techniques. A bit of definition and highlighter never hurts to provide a bit of lift, either. If in doubt; remember that there are plenty of tutorials to help you with this. Each one of them could see you as the center of attention all night.

Long lashes
Whether you’re going for a smokey eye or not, you can bet that long lashes are a good idea, too. By stocking up on options like these cruelty-free eyelashes and practicing how to apply them, you can guarantee you look good. Anyone you speak to on the night is sure to get lost in your eyes this way. Again, this option is so far from your regular makeup routine that it’s sure to provide the WOW factor without fail every single time.

Bright lips
If you want to keep things simple, a bright lip is always an easy go-to. This doesn’t require any makeup magic or tutorials. You just need to apply before heading out and win the crowd over that way. Bear in mind that subtle lips may be best if you are going for smokey eyes. Otherwise, a deep rouge could leave you looking ravishing all night long. Even better, it’s pretty tricky to get this wrong. All you need to do is get a straw to make sure that lipstick doesn’t come off while you’re drinking!

BLK OPAL Foundation Sticks

BLK Opal foundations are really nice. I use these alot because they are full coverage and affordable! I purchased these from Walmart for $9.97 each (worth every cent!).

I have them in the shades “Carob” “Champagne Beige”, and “Truly Topaz”.

There are 16 shades of the BLK Opal foundation sticks to choose from.

“Truly Topaz” is my true foundation shade, I use “Carob” as my contour shade and “Champagne Beige” has my highlight shade. I really love the look and the finish of this combination.

These sticks are so creamy and blendable. I use my Sigma Flat Top Kabuki brush to blend the foundations.

For the price, these sticks are amazing! These are great for both beginners and advanced makeup wearers.

This foundations are said to blur pore appearance, conceal imperfections and achieve natural looking skin with this creme stick foundation. Perfect for highlighting, contouring, touch-ups and seamless full coverage applications, this best- selling formula delivers moisturized, even-toned flawless complexion.

BLK Opal “Champagne Beige”

Though I will advise using a really great setting powder and setting spray to set the foundation.

I can successfully wear this foundation, with my super oily skin, for just about 12 hours before I can feel and visibly see my foundation begin to move and separate. I do have to tell you that no matter what I use to set my face with after having using my BLK Opal, I still have a shine.

Nonetheless, I have really been enjoying the coverage and the ease of application being that this foundation is in stick form.

I highly recommend that you try BLK Opal foundation sticks if you are in the market for a good foundation stick. And too, these are great MUA kit “Must Haves” because they are easy to travel with and easy to use.

Oh Deer!! Quick & Easy Halloween Makeup

This Deer makeup was super quick and easy! I used makeup that I already had! If you are looking for a fun fast Halloween makeup, then this is your look!

Im wearing Covergirl True Matte Foundation in D50 and D70.

Urban Decay’s Perversion liner on my lower lash line and upper lip.

Im wearing Mac cosmetics “Stone” lipstick on my botton lip.

NYX jumbo pencil in “milk” to create my deer dots.

My antlers are from Walmart for $3.

You can always amp this up to a more scarier scene by adding a bullet hole to the forehead for a more gorier look if that’s your thing. Me, personally, I love  blood and gore! Makes for a really good costume in my opinion, but that’s just me. Though cute and clean works too.

Guys! Happy Halloween!! I really hope you enjoy this look! This was so easy and fast! I had fun creating this look! This looks takes little to no makeup artistry skills! Takes just about 20minutes of makeup time and just about 30minutes to create the mermaid crown!

I used makeup that I already had to create my mermaid makeup! Chances are, that you have the same colors laying around your makeup stash!!

I used a generic eyeshadow palette that I bought a few years back from Walmart the day after Christmas (it was 50% off). Any eyeshadow palette will do for these types of fun looks.

Be creative! Use any colors you’d like! Its Halloween!! I went for blues and purple hues because they flowed with my wig.
