Here is my honest review of the Silisponge. The silisponge is not really so much a sponge, but a silicone makeup applicator. The idea behind it is to help you get the most out of your liquid foundation products. So less is more with the silisponge.
During my initial trial, I did learn that it does take a long time to evenly distribute foundation, and the finish is on the cakey side. So I did go behind the silisponge with my blending brush to give it more natural finish. Though I get the idea of the silisponge saving the product being soaked up in it as it does with a regular beauty blending sponge, But it just takes longer to distribute the product and then you still need to use a buffing brush.
In my opinion its total waste of time…
I love the fact that its super easy to clean! But it surely will not be my go to foundation application.

This trip, thus far, as a makeup artist I might add, has been the most fun yet! I was granted a chance to meet and work with an amazing group of women! Sooooo much fun!
These women were gathered in honor of their good friend Imani! It was her Birthday!! It was just so sweet to see them have so much fun together as she celebrated her Birthday!
Imani is pictured in the above photos! She was a complete Doll!! Thank you Imani and I pray that you enjoyed your birthday and Thank you so much for allowing me to provide makeup for you and your friends!

11/19/16 We left my home for the airport at 5:30am, the flight departed Alabama at 7:00am. The flight was roughly 2 hours… very pleasant.
My sister, Diamond, tagged along as my assistant. If at all possible, when working with a large group, I would always suggest having an assistant if you can. Having someone there to help you stay on track and organized really does make a huge difference.
Upon landing in Dallas, TX, we had to hurry to pickup the rental car. When everything is pre-arranged and booked ahead of time, it just makes for an easy pleasant experience when traveling.
Once we made it on location, it took all of 7mins to setup and I was immediately working on the first client. In all, it was like an 8 hour work day. I was packing up and heading back to the airport at 5pm to turn in the rental car as to make it through security in a comfortable amount of time.
Our flight departed Dallas,TX at 8:15pm where we landed in Alabama at 10:32pm.
Here is a look I created today using Coastal Scents Hot Pot eye shadows. I used orange as my mobile lid color as it is one of my favorite bright colors to use on myself.
It pairs so good with browns and reds… just love it on women of color. Though I find that orange, at first glance, can be a bit scary to work with, but it is one of the most flattering shades on WOC. Especially orange blushes… I LIVE for an orange blush.
