Everyone knows that I love luxury bags! Hell, I love everything LUX to be perfectly transparent. But recently I revealed that I will not purchase a designer suitcase and gave my reasons in a Youtube video. For me, I honestly feel like it is a big waste of cash, only for your bags to be mishandled or accidentally damaged while traveling. With me being an airline employee, I see these types of mishaps daily. And its very disheartening to see this things happen.
This is why I opt for more practical luggage items to travel with aside from my luxury carryon items.
These are luxury items that you can almost always find me traveling with. These items include my Louis Vuitton Neverfull and my Louis Vuitton laptop bag. These are my travel staples. I love these items because the are big enough to act as carryons! This means that I dont have to check them in and trust them to others. By using these as carryon items I know that they are safe from damage during travel.
But here are my suggested suitcases and actual sets that I own. Though they are not designer or high luxury, it still pains me to see them damaged, but the pain isnt as bad as it would be had they be high dollar luxury luggage.

The airlines will only replace a damaged bag if the bag has been damaged to where it no longer holds the content in which you packed. Wheels, handles, zipper pulls, and other extremidies of the bag are NOT Covered! An airline does not have to repair or replace your bag if any of the mentioned or damaged or appear missing.
As well will scrapes and scratches, these are considered normal wear and tear from travel usage. So please keep this in mind when purhcasing lugagge.
